Product Description:
YY-918C is a new type of non-polluting, non-irritating and high-efficiency waterproof material, which is widely used in advanced countries in the world. After the product is sprayed (or brushed) on the building surface, it can form a layer of colorless transparent, ultraviolet resistant breathable film on its surface that is invisible to the naked eye. When the rain blows on it or meets the wet air, the water droplets will flow naturally to prevent the invasion of water, and at the same time, it can also wash the dust on the building surface, thus making the interior wall moisture-proof, mildew-proof, exterior wall clean and weathering resistant.
It adopts the latest chemical building materials technology, is colorless or light yellow alkaline aqueous solution, and has excellent waterproof performance after conjunctive. The base surface treated by organosilicon permeable waterproof agent can form excellent hydrophobic layer. When the rain falls on the surface, it will appear as water drops, with the effect of lotus leaves rolling water drops. The base surface is always in a dry state. It can also be mixed with cement, concrete and mortar to form a waterproof layer.

Scope of Application:
Ø Anti-seepage and leakage of building walls, especially brick walls; Anti-salination and alkalization of granite and marble walls.

Ø Protection of warehouses, archives, libraries, etc. from moisture and mildew, color preservation of ancient buildings and cultural relics of human civilization.
Ø Impregnation: roofing tile, perlite, asbestos, inorganic fabric, thermal insulation material, packaging carton, fiberboard, etc.
Ø Directly mixed with cement mortar and concrete, this agent can be used for mixing water by adding 5-10 times of water.

How to use:
Ø Spraying or brushing
In the case of rough surface of concrete, cement mortar, concrete prefabricated structure, etc., it is better to use spray paint, and in the case of smooth surface of stone, marble, granite stone, etc., it can be brushed.
Before use, the base surface shall be carefully cleaned, the floating dust and moss spots shall be cleaned, and the cracks and holes shall be sealed and repaired in advance, and filled tightly.
When using the silicone waterproof agent, use a clean agricultural spray or brush on the dry base surface (wall, etc.) for three consecutive times vertically and horizontally, without intermission. The construction shall not be affected by rain 24 hours after construction. The construction shall be stopped when the temperature is below 4 ℃. The base surface must be dry during construction. The hydrophobic effect can be obtained within 24 hours under normal temperature, and the effect is better after one week, and the curing time in winter is longer.
Ø Making cement mortar
Clean the base surface, clean the oil dirt and floating ash, remove the peeling layer, and seal the cracks with flexible materials.
Construction/Pour Joints:
The joint should be formed by a vertical stop board during construction. Use YUNYAN water stops in construction joints. The alternative is the application of a reinforced liquid applied membrane strip seal extending 100mm either side over the top of construction joints where covered, or grind and fill with non-shrink grout or polymer modified grout, or elastomeric joint sealing compound if there is risk the joint will move.
Penetrations
Use YUNYAN water stops or reinforced liquid applied membrane extending 100mm around penetrations, drains,etc.
Control Joints
Create a joint extending ¼ the depth of the slab, prior to drying shrinkage of the concrete. Use an elastomeric joint sealing compound to seal the joint.
LARGE OR STUBBORN CRACKS
Create a small dam and flood crack with product, repeating the application process. A liquid, flexible cement slurry can be used in large, stable cracks.Consult YUNYAN for the latest techniques and where cracks are volatile.
CONCRETE
Mix Design
YY-918C will meet or exceed its stated performance when applied to slag blend concrete and ordinary Portland cement Type GP concrete. Type C fly-ash replacement up to 30% of
cement replacement. Mix designs with Type F fly-ash require manufacturers specification and approval.
Packing : 20kg/25kg/60kg 24 buckets x 25L in a pallet or 36 buckets x 25L in a pallet or 18 pails x 60L in a pallet.

PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:
Ø Reseals future hairline cracking.
Ø Reduction of chloride diffusion coefficient by 89% to 3.5 (10-12 m2 /s).
Ø Water permeability reduced by 70%/to 5.0 (10-12 m/s) at 10Kg/cm2.
Ø Increases surface hardness from 6 to 8 on Moh’s scale

LIMITATIONS:
YY-918C is not suitable for sealing working/ volatile cracks as a result of structural defects or caused by mechanical damage.
The product is not suitable for sealing where segregation and voids are likely such as construction joints, pour joints. Nor suitable around penetrations where there is a non
masonry/cementitious interface.
YY-918C is not suitable for negative hydrostatic pressure applications such as the inside face of basement/ retaining wall.
