Step-by-Step Application Guide

1. Substrate Preparation

Ensure the exterior substrate is solid, stable, dry, and clean. Remove all dirt, loose dust, efflorescence, grease, or old peeling coatings. The onsite application temperature must be maintained between 5°C and 40°C.

2. Precise Mixing

Following the exact weight ratio of 100kg Powder : 10kg Additive : 25kg Water (or 1 bag powder to 1 barrel additive and approx 6.25kg water), pour the liquid components into a clean container first, then gradually add the powder. Blend thoroughly with an electric mixer until a lump-free, thick, thixotropic paste is achieved.

3. Application Process

YY-526 supports both professional spray machine application and manual steel trowel scraping. Apply the putty uniformly in 2 consecutive coats. Ensure the layer thickness does not exceed 1.5mm per application.

4. Curing & Final Painting

Allow the putty to set for more than 4 hours. Once the coat is completely dry (minimum 24 hours), the surface becomes an ultra-smooth, high-adhesion substrate ready to accept your specified exterior topcoat paint.
