Installation & Application Instructions

1. Subfloor Preparation

The base concrete or screed substrate must be structurally sound, dry, solid, and free from structural cracks, dust, oil, grease, or any old adhesive residues that could impair bonding. Vacuum thoroughly to remove all loose materials.

2. Priming

Apply two coats of a suitable primer to seal the concrete porous structure. This step is vital to avoid air bubbles (pinholes) and prevent the subfloor from absorbing water out of the fresh self-leveling mix. Allow the primer to dry completely.

3. Mixing

Pour 3.6 liters of clean water into a clean bucket, then add one 20kg bag of YY-110 powder while mixing briskly with an electric drill and mixing paddle. Mix thoroughly for 3 minutes to obtain a smooth, thick-fluid, lump-free consistency. Do not over-water, as too much water reduces final product performance.

4. Pouring & Finishing

Pour the fresh mixture onto the primed floor and distribute it uniformly to the required thickness using a notched trowel or gauge rake. Immediately follow with a professional spiked roller to release any entrapped air and smooth out joint lines.

Packaging, Storage & Field Conditions

Packaging: Securely supplied in 20kg or 25kg moisture-resistant bags, palletized on request.
Storage & Shelf Life: 6 to 9 months when kept in its original unopened packaging in a cool, dry place.
Application Limits: Best applied when room and floor temperatures are between 15°C and 25°C, with a relative humidity below 75%. Do not apply if site temperatures drop below 5°C. Protect the curing floor from direct sunlight, strong drafts, and extreme heat during its initial drying phase.
