Step-by-Step Installation Guide

1. Subfloor Preparation

The concrete substrate must be structurally sound, dry, clean, and completely free from dust, cracks, oil, grease, or any contaminants that impair adhesion. Use mechanical profiling (shot-blasting, grinding, or abrading) to remove weak surface sections. Thoroughly vacuum all residual dust.

2. Priming

Apply two coats of a suitable primer based on floor conditions to seal the substrate, prevent air bubbles, and ensure adequate bonding. Allow the primers to dry thoroughly before proceeding.

3. Mixing (Hand or Pump)

Pour approximately 3.6 liters of clean water into a mixing container, then steadily add one 20kg bag of YY-110 powder while stirring briskly. Mix for a minimum of 3 minutes using a drill fitted with a professional mixing paddle until a thick-fluid, lump-free consistency is achieved. Do not over-water or mix too thinly.

4. Pouring & Grouting

Pour the mixture onto the primed area. Spread the material uniformly to the desired thickness using a notched trowel or toothed gauge rake. Immediately run a specialized spiked roller over the wet surface to release entrapped air bubbles and smooth out pour seams.

Important Site Conditions & Notes

Application Temperature: Best applied when site ambient temperatures are between 15°C and 25°C. Floor temperatures must be above 15°C and relative humidity below 75%. (Minimum application limit is 5°C).
Curing Protection: Protect newly smoothed surfaces from direct sunlight, high heat sources, frost, and drafty winds during the drying phase.
Packaging & Storage: Available in heavy-duty 20kg or 25kg bags, packed on fumigation-free pallets. Shelf life is 6–9 months when stored in original, unopened packaging in a cool, dry place.
