Description:
YY-100 is a cement based single component leveling compound with high compressive strength to C30. YY-100 can be also used as overlays for polished concrete floors.
Product Properties/Benefits:
Plastic dry cement mortar with finely graded fillers. When mixed with water, produces a hydraulic-setting smoothing compound with good flow properties and high coverage.
Composition:

Testing Parameters: 22% of water. Laboratory at: 23±2˚C > 50% RH. The performance data is typical and based upon controlled laboratory conditions. Actual performance on the job site may vary from these values based on actual site conditions.
Subfloor Preparation:
l The substrate must be sound, free from cracks, dry, clean and free from materials which would impair adhesion.
l Test the substrate according to applicable standards and report any deficiencies.
l Brush, abrade, grind or shot-blast any weak surface sections or areas which will not accept adhesion.
l Thoroughly vacuum to remove loose material and dust. According to type and condition of the floor, to use primer.
l Allow primers to dry thoroughly.
Application:
l Apply two coats of primer before applying self leveller.
l Put 4.4 litres water into a clean container. Sprinkle in the sack contents (20kg) whilst stirring briskly and mix to a thick-fluid. Lump-free consistency. Use a drill or mixer fitted with a Mixing Paddle. Do not mix too thinly. For best flow ability of product, mix for 3 mins.
l Pour the mixture on the area to be applied, spread the material uniformly to required thickness using toothed rake. It is the next step to remove entranced air by particular roller.
l Drying time at 23℃ is approx 4 hours. Abrading using 40-60 grit sanding paper improves both the surface quality and the absorbency. Poor air-flow and lower temperatures will significantly affect drying times.
Important Notes:
l Minimum shelf-life 12 months in original packaging and in dry storage conditions. Tightly seal opened packaging and use the contents as quickly as possible.
l Best applied at 15-25℃, floor temperature above 15℃ and relative humidity below 75%. Low temperatures and high humidity delays setting, drying and readiness for covering. High temperatures shorten the working time. Therefore use the coldest possible mixing water during the summer.
l Protect freshly smoothed surfaces from direct sunlight and influences of heat.
l The product should be protected against frost and direct light during transportation, storage and application. Application temperature should not be lower than 5℃.
Disposal:
l Dispose of empty packaging according to local regulations.
